Honorable Guild

The Honorable Guild System is now live in our server.

Every Monday (server time) the most active Guild in doing selected server features will receive the Honorable Guild Title.
The Honorable Guild will receive a Treasure Room of their own with 12 Castle Treasure Box everyday
and access to a Guild Dungeon.

This is a battle for Glory without going to PVP but working as a guild with activity!

The treasure room can only be accessed by the Guild Leader of the Honorable guild same way with the castle holders.
The Honorable Guild Treasure Room will contain the newly updated castle treasures.

When the Guild Leader of Honorable Guild logged in
A server wide announcement will be attributed to him/her.
This greeting is given only to the servers paragon of honor.
This announcement has 30 minutes cooldown.

Additional features might be added to the systems in the near future
as we strive to improve the activities in the server.


HONORABLE GUILD POINTING SYSTEM

Daily Quest - 3 points
Scavenger Hunt - 1 point (1 hour device CD)
Zeph Quest - 2 points (1 hour device CD)
Survival Event (winner) - 10 points
Poring Catcher (winner) - 10 points
Dice Event (winner) - 10 points
Goblin Invasion (winner) - 10 points

For now, these are the only activities that will yield points.
For now we are only adding activities that even new players can do.
But instances might be considered and added for it in the future.
New small features might be added later that could also give honorable points.
So watch out on announcement for them.


We are looking forward to see some of our honorable veteran players to lead others especially the new bloods in the server.

Reset time is every monday.

Note: The Honorable Guild will be given to the GM Guild "Divine Glacial Kingdom" for the reset later today (January 13 2020) .

it's Developers guild, basically a place holder. Guild can only start accumulating points after the reset today.

Points will reset every monday server time.

Question! Should i finish the daily quest with the character that is on the guild to make it count? Or it would still work even when i use other chars for it

Hello just to clarify for zeph Zeph Quest - 1 point (added only every 1 hour)

does that mean per account or is it per character? can only add one point to the guild per hour, or it means the guild can only receive 1 point per hour?

it is per PC, you can only get 1 point per hour on each computer.

Suggestions :

- Battlegrounds, Donation of Victory Badge for a certain honorable guild points.

- Press Your Luck Jackpot Winner will have a certain honorable guild points.

- Daily Death Match Points target.

 

And... please also help the guild members instantly benefit from the participation.

Thanks you for this brilliant idea to help newbie and have access to the castle treasure box. 

Thanks alot Sadie for helping newbie to catching up the vet to reduce the gap between them in term of equipment,wealth and so on.

Something like this we re really need to make DRO a place of pvp's heaven.

I don't think anything remotely connected to PVP is going to get implemented. The idea of the Honorable Guild system is to have a competition between players without PVP participation.

we are trying to avoid to add PVP related stuffs so BG related things might not be added on it, but who knows in the future.
As for press your luck, this might be possible for jackpot, i'll do consider it.
as for death match point target, no, since this is pretty much pvp related. But caspen dungeon and bossnia might be added soon as they will get some daily small quest.

Anyway small update: Dice, poring catcher, survival, goblin invasion, etc will give 10 points each next week. (x2)

Hi

First of all the idea of honorable guild is fantastic to give players unrelated to pvp and woe a chance to catch up to veteran players by increasing the incentives for farming and grinding monsters in zeph and using said grind items on scavenge and i salute and thank you for this as it has made me get closer to other people ingame and have fun together, so far it looks good, but i dont think we should raise the point gain of the scheduled events like poring, goblin and such so high because it increases the "luck" aspect of pointgain too drastically, leaving scavenge and zeph missions (the main grindy and hard effort point gains) barely relevant. 

As pointed out new players can win the scheduled events, but those who mostly participate (and win) in them are veteran players (as a mainly event player I know) , which takes me to press your luck also being only an activity for players with a lot of zenny and not for new players. (how much zenny is spended on the average PYL race?)

I dont mean to take away the "luck" factor out of the honorable guild system, but at least dont make more important than the other ways of earning points. Perhaps make it 6 or 7 points per event victory (which is at least two dqs or a player spending 6 hours doing scavenge quests).

1. I agree with you that if the points from events increase to 10 it will make the zeph and scavenger almost ignored because the difference is high. most newbies do that 3 main basic quest zeph, scav and zeph. Making events to 10 points will make other grinding quest left out which is not good. 5 pts is olredy enough in my opinion since we have 15 or 16 events each day (correct me if wrong) that can give pts which you can imagine 10 pts in that every event in same guild would be too much in my opinion.

2. For casino press your luck jackpot i think it should be implement because it's a fun way to get points with my friends there. BUT, my suggestion (@Sadie) for it is it should have a cooldown per ip which if a player win jackpot already, the 2nd time he win jackpot will not add points to the guild which need to wait for cooldown. The cooldown shud be base on the points that can get on winning jackpot.

3. Winning jackpot on press your luck is really depend last time i used less than 1b win 2 jackpots which im in luck, there are also times i dont win jackpot 7-10b so it depends on luck.

I'm sorry but I don't agree on those events being only won by veterans. Participating is one thing, but winning those events are mostly luck dependent which is the exact factor that makes it fair for everyone. It's the duty of your guild master to encourage you to join those events. This competition is basically a battle of numbers and being active in the first place. Events only happen once every hour and only one can win it, there's no guarantee that any guild competing for it will win. 10 points can go to any guild regardless if they are participating or not. No one can guarantee winning the event.

The reason why I made it 10 points is to increase the importance of joining those events. Saying we should lower the points because newbies don't participate in those events is going backward as I believe that everyone has the capabilities to join those events.

Survival monsters kills anyone regardless if you are veteran or newbie. Dice will kick you if you choose the wrong number, regardless of how long you have stayed in the server. Poring catcher can be won by anyone who see and hit the poring first. Goblin King can be killed by anyone who spot it at first sight.

As for PYL, I am not 100% sure that I will add it because I also want to avoid players zeny to affect the results. However I also thought that winning PYL isn't that easy and giving it a small point won't be too bad. But it is still under consideration and I will discuss it first to other members of the staff team.

Additional changes
 

  • scavenger now has 1 hour device CD for points. Each device can only get 1 point per hour
  • Zeph Quest point increase from 1 to 2.
