Elemental Shield cast Puema and Safetly wall on the same square basically making all mele classes( ranged or not ranged) useless. It also is a party buff( any char in the 16 by 16 block will receive this skill) and its duration last longer than that both pnuema or safety walls normal duration.
Removing party buff (or reducing the 16 by 16 square)
Reducing skill duration to that of pnuemas or safety walls normal duration
It can only be cast once in a 60-second cooldown
Both land skills can be removed by Land Protector and Pneuma.
Sharpshooting Ranger on near full damage, glass cannon mode
Obviously I'm missing with White Wing set, but that goes to show how much more damage that it can get to.
Putting in the maths, as well as overall reduction for all classes:
Minstrel : 75% demihuman reduction
Ranger : 75% demihuman reduction
Gunslinger : 65% demihuman reduction
DPS (over 10 seconds)
Double Strafe Ranger : (4 times a second, 100k per time = 4,000,000)
Sharpshooting Ranger : (4 times a second, 85k per time IN A 10-cell STRAIGHT LINE =3,4000,000)
Gunslinger : (4.5 times a second, 75k per time = 3,375,000)
Minstrel : (3 times every 2 seconds, 162k per time = 2,430,000)
I fucked up using Green Beats in the DS test, should have removed it out of the equation.
As you can see, Minstrels fall far behind in terms of DPS. Of course, if you compare the burst damage, Minstrel wins due to how Arrow Vulcan works (2 seconds as compared to 10 seconds). There are other ways to boost Ranger damage too (Full White Wing set).
I don't even want to compare non-glass cannon builds for all these 3 classes. Minstrels are just far behind
Any major boost to Arrow Vulcan will make Minstrels very overpowered in duels (Of course, quoting HaZe, "balance should not be made based on 1v1 situations")
Here is a comparison for near full damage AV on a level 2 Elite Weapon (I'm missing a Furious Seyren card)
It is a little on the low side, to be honest, when the skill range is 5, can only stack up to 3, before making you useless for the next 1.5 seconds. Gunslingers deal the same/more DPS at 18 cells of safety, Rangers the same/slightly less but is more tanky and is AOE.
At most, this skill needs a 5-10% buff, nothing more.
It's dealing constant 9,000 * 5, and is spammable.
Let's not forget the attacker does not have full damage items (can add 60-70% more damage), and does not have the elite revolver. With those, the defender with the same gear take 20,000*5 from a skill that is 16 cells.
Please relook into this.
